Depending on the type, age and/or value of the furniture one can opt for a classic or more contemporary working-method for upholstery.
This approach includes a new build up of your furniture according to the traditional method; i.e. with springs, crin etc. It is then up to you to choose you preffered fabric or leather. The last finishing touch wil optionally be realized with ornamental nails, blind nail profile or galon. This classic method is very solid, durable and above all environmentally friendly as it almost exclusively uses natural materials. On the other hand, it is very labour-intensive and therefore usually more expensive than the contemporary method.
This approach means that the filling consists mainly of contemporary materials such as polyether (popularly ‘foam’), bondfoam, dacron etc. As with the classic method it is your choosen fabric, leather or imitation leather and an border with ornametal nails, blind nail profile or galon who will finish your seat. Also in this way of working we provide a beautiful, stylish and finished result. It goes without saying that this method is mainly applied in contemporary seating furniture. But it can also be used perfectly for style or antique furniture.
